In the United States of America, the Agriculture Marketing Work of 1929 established a Federal Domestic Board, promoted a organization of agriculture and lent money for agricultural marketing cooperatives. It was abolished within 1933. A original work was sponsored by President Hoover around an attempt to prevent a downwardly spiral of crop price levels. A Agriculture Marketing Work was a precursor to F.D. Roosevelt's Agricultural Adjustment Work.
